Basic Functionality

You can access the Search feature in three different ways. When you are in your Sifted Document, you can

· click the magnifying glass icon located in the righthand side of the toolbar (you may need to expand your tool bar to access this icon by clicking '...' if the icon is not visible),

· expand the edit menu and select “Search pane” or

· use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+F (Windows) or Command+F (Mac).

Once the search box appears, you can type the search term and press the Enter key to perform the search.

Then, you can navigate through search results by pressing Enter or clicking the up and down arrow icons.

In order to perform a case-sensitive term search, click the 'Aa' icon. If you want to remove the case-sensitive feature, you can click on the 'Aa' icon again.

To close the Search pane, click the 'X' icon, click the Search (magnifying glass) icon in the toolbar or menu, or press the Esc key.
